Azusa Pacific University Shares Holiday Traditions

by Rosedale on 12/19/2012 05:41 PM

Found only moments from Rosedale, local university, Azusa Pacific University, has been ranked among the best colleges and universities in the nation. So when we stumbled upon these beloved Christmas recollections from current students, faculty, and staff members, we could not help but see why- this school has heart! One professor shared, "My favorite tradition is Christmas Eve service with my daughters, their spouses, and now grandchildren. Also, watching my wife and daughters cook together."  One Azusa Pacific University student shares her love of great holiday music, food, and quality time with the family. “My family and I listen to the same Christmas CD every Christmas morning as we open presents, and my dad stops half way through to make coffee and we all eat some pumpkin bread my mom has made. Also, my dad still videotapes my sister and me opening all our presents every year as if we were still toddlers," quotes Michelle Colston, Psychology Major, Class of 2013.

Celebrate the Joy of the Holiday Season with a Southern California Tradition!

by Rosedale on 12/10/2012 03:03 PM
Category: Announcements

Southern California holidays are all about sunshine, music and food. Visit the Disney Concert Hall this holiday season to sing the joys of the season in Downtown Los Angeles. The Angeles Chorale will lead you through a selection of Holiday Sing-Alongs and special guest, Julie Andrews, of Song of Music fame, will be reading holiday poems! Then take a stroll to Bottega Louie for a bite of their world famous macaroons (which are decorated specially for the holidays) or head out to Pershing Square for an evening of ice skating underneath the stars and lights of Downtown Los Angeles!
